Not Much Longer

Well, it's less than a week until we leave for the Hot Rod Power Tour.  We are both so ready to go which will make this week seem very long. 

There is no rain in our forecast here in North Texas for a this week.  Hopefully other parts of the state will be drying out and getting back to normal by the time the Power Tour gets there.

We finished fixing a few things on the interior of the car over the weekend and took it out for a short run into town and ran a few errands.  David got the oil changed this morning and will be giving everything one more look each evening this week after work. 

I started getting stuff that we need to take together over the weekend.  David already has most of his stuff packed.  I guess that will be my evening project for the next few days.

One of the things I am most excited about is seeing my sweet friend and Maid of Honor (from many years ago), Valerie.  I already know that our visit will be too short and it will be hard to leave.

I sure will miss this fuzzy face while we are gone!
