Less Than 30 Days To Go

This picture is from the last Hot Rod Power Tour we were able to do back in 2013.  The stars have aligned and the tour is coming so close to home this year, we couldn't not do it!

David has spent the last few months working diligently to fix any issues with the car.  He ended up have to change the shifter from on the column to on the floor, got new tires and several other little things.  We should be ready to hit the road for the "Long Haul" once again.

The tour starts in Baton Rouge Louisiana.  To get there from home we will pass through the area that my high school best friend lives.  We haven't seen each other in probably 30 years.  Hopefully our plan to at least have lunch together will work out.  I am so excited at the chance to see Valerie!!

The second stop on the tour will be Baytown TX.  David has some family in the Houston area so maybe will be able to at least say hi while we are so close.  From there it's off to Austin, then on to Grand Prairie, David also has some family in this area.  The next stop will be Oklahoma City, then Wichita KS.  The final stop will be Kansas City KS.    

We are excited to once again get the "hot rod" out for a road trip.
